Menus

The meals in the menus linked below try to accomplish the following goals:

  • Low-ish sodium.

  • Include veggies and fruits

  • Incorporation of 'salad in a bag' options. There are so many good options out there now. 

  • Incorporated of freezer veggies consistently. There are many fun options like zoodles, sweet potato fries, and interesting mixtures. 

  • Low-ish carbs both in the recipes and the types of side dishes. I figure we all get lots of carbs through the rest of the day.

  • Make the recipes for 4 - 6 servings. 

  • I selected recipes that are not too (I hope) time consuming. Some ingredient lists may look long but that is mostly seasonings. Some of the casseroles can also easily be prepped ahead and stored in the fridge. 

  • A lot of the recipes can easily have kitchen helpers. Making meatballs, assembling panini, really most everything.
